About

Founded in 2016 with a simple aim of making delicious coffee without being a prick about it.

Our friend Tom Mayger built us a trailer out of old doors and door frames from the original Tetley Brewery head office.

I said yes to any event who wanted a coffee trader, this took us to food festivals, school fairs, weddings and corporate events as far as London, Newcastle, Sheffield & Manchester. Because this wasn't enough to pay bills I was working at North Brewing Co filling cans, Alfred in Meanwood pulling delicious pints, erecting teepees at Bar Events, working the bar at Grumpys Pizza and any basically any bar that would have me.

In 2020 lockdown we linked up with good pals Pizza Loco temporarily bringing coffee, pannouzzi to the masses in Oakwood. People went flippers for it and Rabbit Hole in its current form was born, I went full time and balls deep.

Another pop up followed with our friends at Form Crossfit serving brews to sweaty fitness freaks. This led to the most mental stint at Pretty Little Thing in Manchester.

We set up a pop up at Harvey Nichols in the Victoria Quarter in January 2022 which was meant to last 3 months and ended up being 3 years.  Amy created a great food concept here delivering locally sourced produce from over the road at Kirkgate Market. We celebrated Yorkshire independents like Latitude Wine, Black Day Bakes, Tarbetts Fishmongers, North Brewing, Vocation, Baltzersens Bakeri, Bluebirds Bakery and Brown & Blond.

A momentous moment in July 2022, we opened our first bricks & mortar shop on Stainburn Parade in Moortown. This is probably my favourite coffee shop in the world. A very weird and wonderful community of people come daily even though its the wettest shop on Earth.

In September 2025 we opened our second site in Otley on Boroughgate. Its got an amazing independent scene that covers everything you need. There is a plethora of places to go for a walk and peruse the many chazzas.

You can also catch us doing various events up and down the country in 2026 in our snazzy gazebo!
